Born on January 9th, 1963, Galveston, TX, she graduated from Westchester Sr. High School in Houston, TX in 1981 and then from Sophie Newcomb College in New Orleans, with a degree in Art in 1985. At Newcomb, Shannon met and fell in love with Nate and they married on August 11, 1985.
Shannon is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Nate, and her two sons, Spencer and Reid of Marietta; her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Lyal Williams, of Houston, TX and her sister Kelly Williams, also of Houston.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 21st from 9:30 to 10:30 am at H. M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Road NE, Marietta, 770-977-9485. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 4905 Roswell Rd. Marietta, GA, at 11:30 am by Rev. Michael J. Alello.
