

Shirley Ann (White) Clark, age 73, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2020. She was born on June 27, 1947 to Richard and Madeline White of Danville, Illinois. Shirley loved riding horses and meeting friends as a child. During high school she enjoyed baton twirling and playing the accordion. She attended college in Springfield, graduating with a degree in liberal arts. She wed Robert J. Clark, also of Danville, in 1969 and shortly after, they moved to Marietta where she was an excellent homemaker, volunteer, and devoted mother to her children.
In her spare time, Shirley loved playing tennis, card games, spending time with her family and soaking up the sun on the beach. Bob and Shirley took many cherished vacations with friends and family to places such as Alaska, New York City, and Myrtle Beach.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; Bob, her husband of 34 years; and her older brother Alan. She is survived by her children Marcia (Kenneth) Hickey, Jason (Kelly) Clark, and Morgan (David) Callaway; her sister Betty Jo (Art) Miller; her brother Larry (Dianne) White; and 11 grandchildren: Billy, Jonathan, and Elizabeth Hickey, Grace and Henry Clark, and Nate, Nick, Noah, Max, Evan and Eli Callaway.
Out of love and concern for family and friends, funeral services for Shirley are private.
