Mr. Steven "Steve" Johnson, 54 of Mableton died Saturday, December 31, 2011. Steve worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a maintenance mechanic for many years. He was known for his love for animals and was very proud to be a grandfather. Steve was a very loving father and cared for his kids and anyone else who was involved in his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Marlo Young-Johnson; son, Alex Johnson and his wife Ashton of Suwanee, GA; daughters, Brittany Johnson-Kicker and her husband Jeff of Provo, UT and Naya Johnson of Mableton, GA; sisters, Judy Johnson of Winder, GA and Beverly Michalek and her husband Joe of Collierville, TN; grandchild, Jayden Johnson. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 1:00 pm at H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill Chapel. Burial will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on the day of the service.
