Thomas Eugene Ash

September 19, 1935May 11, 2018

Tom Ash Sr., 82 of Marietta Georgia entered Heaven on May 11, 2018 with his family by his side and his favorite Christmas song playing softly beside him.

He was born September 19th 1935 in Fremont Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Hannora Ash and his three older brothers.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Pam, five children and their spouses; Ann Stroud (Phillip), Willy (Stephanie), Tommy (Amy), Krissy Quinlan (Greg), and Kathy Henninger (Jon), thirteen grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his faithful canine companion Freida.

He served proudly in the Navy Reserves, Army Reserves, and the Air National Guard for a combined 25 years of military service.

Tom was steadfast in his faith and kind, strong, and supportive to all he knew. He loved Nebraska football, Braves baseball, beach vacations with the family, his 5 O’clock martini, and any opportunity for a family gathering.

A celebration of life well lived will be held at a later date. In recognition of Tom’s generous and kind spirit, donations can be made to the charities that were nearest to his heart; The American Cancer Society, Wounded Warriors Project, or The Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

My Uncle Tom was like a 2nd father to me,he was always there, especially when I really needed him when my Dad (his brother, Don) was ill, & passed away. You always knew how much he loved his family-all of us. He especially adored my Aunt Pam & their kids. There just are not enough words to express how much he will be missed by all of the Ash's.
To all my dear cousins take comfort in knowing he is in a fabulous, beautiful place & we will all see him again !
Love to you all-hold all your memories close I know I will ❤️
