He was born September 19th 1935 in Fremont Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Hannora Ash and his three older brothers.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Pam, five children and their spouses; Ann Stroud (Phillip), Willy (Stephanie), Tommy (Amy), Krissy Quinlan (Greg), and Kathy Henninger (Jon), thirteen grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his faithful canine companion Freida.
He served proudly in the Navy Reserves, Army Reserves, and the Air National Guard for a combined 25 years of military service.
Tom was steadfast in his faith and kind, strong, and supportive to all he knew. He loved Nebraska football, Braves baseball, beach vacations with the family, his 5 O’clock martini, and any opportunity for a family gathering.
A celebration of life well lived will be held at a later date. In recognition of Tom’s generous and kind spirit, donations can be made to the charities that were nearest to his heart; The American Cancer Society, Wounded Warriors Project, or The Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.
