Mrs. Virginia Stallworth DeMarcus Rizzo passed away after a long period of illness on Sunday, October 9, 2011. She was a retired civil servant for the Department of Defense and faithfully served our nation in time of war and peace. Mrs. Rizzo is survived by her husband Charles Rizzo of Marietta; sons, Michael DeMarcus and his wife Saralynn and Larry DeMarcus and his wife Laura; grandchildren, Stefanye, Clay, Kevin and Glenn DeMarcus; cousins, Martha and Arthur Cantrell, Jay and Paul Jernigan. Virginia is also survived by numerous friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
