Vivian graduated from Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and attended Randolph-Macon Woman's College. She was a graphic designer for 25 years. Vivian was a creative and adventurous soul who loved to cook, knit, tend to her plants, and spend time with her family - especially her grandchildren.
Vivian was dearly loved by Steve Raymond Eckman, her husband of 19 years; her children: Sarah Willingham Williams, Mary Gordon Mersereau, Victoria Willingham Barritt, Elizabeth Raley Eckman, and Sydney Ryan Stamaris; grandchildren: Walter Williams, Rowan Williams, Van Everett Barritt, Decker Barritt, Kaelyn Boric, and Trip Stamaris; sons -in-laws: Casey Daniel Williams, John Bradford Mersereau, Jr., Andrew Michael Barritt, Jesse Steven Parrish and Bradley James Stamaris, Jr.; mother Boyce Ficklen Davis, brother James Boyce Davis, and sister Anita Davis Young; sister-in-law Fran Leathers Davis, and brother-in-law Frederick William Young, II. She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Davis.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Episcopal Church of the Mediator, 212 E. Robert Toombs Ave, Washington, GA at 2:00 pm
A celebration of Vivian's life will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 403 Olde Heritage Circle, Woodstock, GA from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Vivian's name to the Episcopal Church of the Mediator, (706) 678-7226 or the Cancer Research Institute.
