Mr. Huffines was predeceased by his parents Walter Everett Huffines Sr. and Lola Murray and brother Jack Huffines. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Mrs. Cindy Huffines, son Bryan Shaw and wife Jennifer of Powder Springs, daughter Carrie McCoy and husband Joe of Fairmount, children Donna Barrett and Kenneth Huffines from a previous marriage, brother Thomas Huffines, sisters Louise Ellis and Rebecca Oakley, beloved grandchildren Lauren, Haley, Lucas, Caiden, Jessica and Clyde, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tony Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Friday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made in Mr. Huffines honor to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Pky Se, #1, Marietta, GA 30067 or the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Rd Se, Smyrna, GA 30080.
