Mrs. Charlene Waneta Lathouse, age 82, of Marietta, passed away January 9, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.
She graduated with a Bachelor in French and English from Ball State University and was the first member of her family to attend college. She was an English as a Second Language Instructor at Kennesaw State University and with Cobb County Adult Education.
Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Adrian Lathouse.
Survived by her children, Eric Lathouse, Nicole Lathouse, Evan Lathouse, Nathan Lathouse; granddaughter, Amelia Gilbert.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 25 at 1 PM in the Mausoleum Chapel of Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, 1306 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064, with Chaplin James Kenton and Maketo Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park.
