Wilburn Roosevelt See

Retired Colonel Wilburn Roosevelt See, age 91, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Wilburn was born November 30, 1930 to the late, Wilburn A See and Lillie Mae Coleman See. He graduated from Prairie View A & M University with a degree in Agricultural Science. Colonel Wilburn retired from the United States Army, Deputy Director Human Resource Program. In his spare time, he enjoyed attending church, traveling, playing bridge and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Letha A. See, son, Terry L. See (wife, Linda Fowler-See), granddaughters, Taylor A. See, Jasmine A See, Jordan A. See; sisters, Florence See and Betty McGowen.

A visitation for Wilburn will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at H.M. Patterson & Son-Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Road Ne, Marietta, GA 30068. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Zion Baptist Church, 165 Lemon Street, Marietta, GA 30060. He will lie in state from 9 am until service time.
