Throughout his life, Bill was always in aviation. He proudly served as an airline mechanic in the United States Air Force as well as a commercial pilot for both Eastern Airlines and American Eagle before his retirement.
On June 3, 1989 he married Mary Beth Jones Butler. They were just shy of their thirty-third anniversary together before his passing.
In his younger years, Bill enjoyed playing High School football in Miami and tennis in Atlanta. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family and friends and he enjoyed quality time with his fur babies as well. Bill was a loving man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
