William B Lemann

Bill was born in New Orleans to Martha (Ayers) and Paul Lemann. He grew up in New Orleans and attended St. Martin's Episcopal School and graduated from the Darlington School in Rome, GA. He attended Tulane University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fratenity.

Bill was blessed to have his vocation be the same as his avocation. He loved to fly! He retired as a captain from Eastern Air Lines in 1991 when the airline ceased operations. Bill enjoyed trivia and was very good at it. His quick wit amused both friends and family.

Bill was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Ric Lemann.

Bill is survived by his wife, Kathi (Katherine Dawson Lemann), son, Jason Lemann (Junko Ohhashi) and daughter, Katie (Kathryn Lemann Bragg) (Kevin Bragg). Bill is also survived by his grandchildren: Thomas Lemann, Hannah Lemann, and Lily Lemann- all of Houston and by his by his granddughter Ellie (Eloise) Bragg of Atlanta. He dearly loved being Grandpa. Bill is also survived by his sister, Julie (Lemann) Uhl of Colorado Springs.

A funeral service will be held at Mt. Bethel Church Chapel. 4385 Lower Roswell Rd. Marietta, GA on Thursday, June 11th at 11:00 am. Burial will be in New Orleans.
