William Taylor Wittel

Mr. William Taylor Wittel, 78, of Marietta, GA passed away January 25, 2013. He was born in Cuthbert, GA to the late Bill and Katherine Wittel on October 28, 1934. After graduation from high school, Taylor earned his degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. Taylor enjoyed a career as an aeronautical engineer for Lockheed-Martin. Some of his many hobbies included golfing, fishing, photography, travel, supporting the Yellow Jackets and coaching. He was a devoted husband and father, and a doting grandfather, affectionately known as “Big Daddy”. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Wittel. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Hansen (Michael), son, Chet Wittel (Violet) and granddaughter Baily Tripp (Jason). A funeral service will be held on Sunday January 27, 2013 at 4:00pm in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm.
