Arnold "Pee Wee" Johnson

Mr. Arnold “Pee Wee” Johnson, 68, of Old Fort, passed away, Monday, November10, 2014. Born July 9, 1946, in McDowell County, he was a son of the late Ted Johnson and Allie Effler Johnson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was also preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore Johnson and Carl Johnson and two sisters, Opal Queen and Midge Mason. Mr. Johnson was a Veteran of the US Army and owned and operated P.J.’s R.V. Repair until his retirement. He enjoyed working on old cars.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 45 years, Judy Johnson, of the home;

A sister, Elsie Brookshire, of Old Fort;

A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends will also cherish his memory.

Funeral Services for Mr. Johnson will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 13, 2014, in the McCall Memorial Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Marion, with the Reverend Coy Jeans officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow the services at the McDowell Memorial Park with Military Honors provided by the NC National Guard.
