Arrie Belle Watkins Rumfelt

Arrie Belle Watkins Rumfelt, 84, of Marion, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at her residence. Born on June 28, 1927 in MCDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Watkins and Sarah Gallion Watkins. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Rumfelt; daughter, Faye Jaworowski; brothers, Robert Watkins, J.W. Watkins, Doyal Watkins and Horace Watkins; and brother-in-law, Woodrow Higgins.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Clontz and her husband, Edward of Marion; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Wayne Jaworowski of Spring Hope, NC; sister, Ruth Higgins of Tryon, NC; brothers, Weldon Watkins and his wife Kay of California and Russell Watkins and his wife, Lois of Georgia and Aaron Watkins and his wife, Juanita of Bessemer City; sister-in-law, Betty Watkins of Gastonia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Service of Remembrance will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Reverend Jim Brewer officiating. The burial will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church.
