Barbara "Bob" Jane Bowman

Mrs. Bowman was born on September 14, 1938 in McDowell County, to the late Raymond Samuel Jernigan and Alice Gillespie Jernigan.

Mrs. Bowman was a homemaker most of her life.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her step-grandfather; Sam Crocker "PaPa", husband; Edward Justice Bowman Sr., and one brother; Jimmy Jernigan.

Mrs. Bowman is survived by a son; Edward “Beau” Bowman Jr. of Marion, three daughters; Kimberly Gay Bowman of Mebane, NC, Gwyn Halacheff and Ralph of Graham, NC, Lynn House also of Graham, NC, one brother; Raymond Jernigan and wife Linda of Burlington, NC, three grandchildren; Shane Williams, Jennifer Halacheff, and Dustyn Bowman, and two great grandchildren; Nadia Halacheff, and DJ Foust Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Kirksey Funeral Home Chapel in Marion, NC with Mr. Raymond Jernigan speaking. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Kirksey Funeral Home.
