Bobbie Ellen Woody

She was born November 20, 1936 in Swain County, NC to the late Ben Cochran and Florence Bridges Cochran. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Clint Woody; her brother, Ralph Cochran; and four sisters, Dorothy Jones, Bessie Penley, Jean Farmer and Eloise Cochran (Infant).

Mrs. Woody retired from Cato Fashions in Marion after 15 years of service.

Surviving are her son, Carl Woody and wife, June of Marion, NC; one sister, Ruth Masters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive Friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
