Brenda Ann Grant

Brenda Ann Grant, 68, of Marion, NC, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 24, 2019 at her home.

Brenda was born January 11, 1951 in Yancey County, NC to the late Roy D. Grant and Connie Pate Grant. She worked several different jobs through the years with the most recent being at the McDowell County Register of Deeds. She also attended Grandview Baptist Church. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her beloved son, Roy Aaron Grant, June 28, 1978 and her brother.

Left behind to cherish Brenda’s memory are her son, Caleb Jones and wife Davida; two grandchildren, Destiny and Gabriel Jones; very special friends, Dustin and Brooke Ishikura and their daughter, Ivy and Fred and Hilda Boyd.

A funeral service to celebrate Brenda’s life will be held Monday, October 28, 2019 at 5:30 PM in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Dicks officiating. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Rocky Pass Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
