Brenda Gail Wray

Born in Yancey County to the late Kenneth Edward Robinson and Cleo Phillips, Brenda worked in several plants throughout her life. She attended Going Home Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Jackson Wray, Jr., and her sister, Sheila Laughter, who passed away in November.

Survivors include her son, Darrell Robinson (Rhonda); two grandchildren, Chris and Timmy; and two brothers, Earl Robinson and Edward Robinson.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 2 o’clock PM at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Forest City.

The family requests that memorial gifts be made to CarePartners Hospice McDowell, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
