Carl Ernie Ernest Bright

Carl Ernest “Ernie” Bright, age 48, of Morganton, NC, passed away, on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care in Valdese, NC, surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceeded in death by his mother, Rosalie Head Bright.

Mr. Bright was a mower for a landscaping company. He loved his tractor and giving tractor rides to his great-nephew, Tyson Honeycutt. He was a friendly person who never met a stranger. He enjoyed listening to music and playing music trivia with his friends. He loved his family and children and they are saddened he left them so soon. He will be forever missed.

He is survived by his father, George Bright, of Marion; sons Joseph (Tiffany) Bright and C. J. Bright, both of Marion; daughter Savannah Bright and step-daughter Amanda Bailey both of Marion; sister Linda Honeycutt of Nebo; great-nephew Tyson Honeycutt; grandsons Easton Bright, Bentley Goforth, Harper Bailey and William Bauguess; and a granddaughter Ryleigh Causby.
