Jean (and family),
I was so shocked to hear about Floyd's passing. I did not hear until after the funeral, when Glenda saw the sign in your yard. It was good that Glenda and I got to chat with you and Floyd at Montford Cove back in May. I am so very sorry for your loss. I know you are hurting. You all are in my prayers. May God comfort you and grant you peace now and in the days ahead!!

He was by the music store on Wednesday. He was excited about moving into his new house. When he would come by the store, he would talk about music, guitars,, and family. He loved his family. He was a great friend to me and my father.

I just saw my dear friend, Floyd, days ago discussing how happy I was that he is safely back in his home after the fire. I always appreciated his visits to my shop discussing old chain saws, guitar lessons and flea market treasures. My wife and I will keep Floyd's loved ones in our prayers.
