Frances Cannon

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Atlas Cannon; three brothers; Earnest Pittman Oscar Pittman, Arnold Pittman; three sisters; Myrtle Radford, Nell Dickey, and Barbara Jean Pittman and a step-son, Ken Cannon.

Mrs. Cannon is survived by a son, James Cannon, wife Teresa, of Old Fort, NC;step-daughter, Connie Davis, of Shelby, NC. Several Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 1:00 PM at McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion, with Rev. Donald Freshour, Rev. Walker Tony, and Rev. Harvey Johnson officating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethel united Methodist Church in Old Fort.

Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family.
