Guy Calvin Greene Jr.

He was born September 2, 1947 in Buncombe County, NC to the late Guy Calvin Greene, Sr. and Ruth Ballard Greene. Guy worked at Baxter Healthcare and was a member of Nealsville Church of God. He was a good Christian man and prayer warrior. He loved talking about the Lord and loved fishing.

Surviving Mr. Greene are his wife, Diana Duncan Greene of the home; two sons, Brian Greene and wife, Melissa and Guy Calvin Greene, III and wife, Jessica all of Marion, NC; two daughters, Connie Willis and husband, Greg of VA and Barbie Wilson and husband, Cliff of GA; one brother, Stanley Greene of Swannanoa, NC; two sisters, Annie Wilcox and husband, Barry of Swannanoa, NC and Patty Tuck of GA; and a number of grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion, NC. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Nealsville Church of God with Rev. Doug Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
