Well ill never forget how JL and Debbie took in this lil skinny long haired boy who had no where to go they opened up their home and hearts to him and made him apart of the family which he really needed at that point in his life. They treated him just like family and he felt like he was part of this crazy wonderful lil family . JL taught me how to be a good man and how to love family and i did just that loved them all as best as i could and just hope he felt that from me. I dont know how i would have turned out if it had not been for this lil family probably still in a ditch somewhere how knows . i just want to say thank you to them all for my life !!! Thank you all so much JL and Debbie, Missy,Crystal and my lil man Jammie . I love you all with all my heart . Love Jeff Davis (Hinson)

When JL was about 12 years old he decided to make a swing with a rope in an apple tree. He tied the rope to a tree limb and tied a slip knot in the other end. He put his foot in the the slip knot and started swinging. When he got tired and wanted to get down, he found the slip knot had tightened and he couldn't get loose. He wound up hanging upside down by his foot. My Dad had to rescue him.
I'll miss him.
