Jason Vance Presnell

Jason Vance Presnell, age 39, of Old Fort, NC, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

Mr. Presnell was born in McDowell County to Charles and Sue Presnell on December 27, 1977. He was a Christian man and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Presnell was a hard worker and worked in the construction business for Apex Building Company. He was a kind and caring man and also had a great sense of humor. Jason also had a love for music, enjoyed going to concerts and traveling. Most of all, he loved his family and friends.

Mr. Presnell was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Lois Presnell ; maternal grandparents Richard and Sula McDaniel; and a step-son, Thurston Vettraino.

Surviving Mr. Presnell are his son, Micah Presnell of Nebo; parents, Charles and Sue Presnell, of Old Fort; sisters, Jennie (Heath) Ammons, of Marion, Tracie Ward of Drexel, and Amanda Berry of Morganton.

A Memorial Service, celebrating the life of Jason Vance Presnell, will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Old Fort, with Pastor Charles Hughes officiating.
