Johnnie Wayne Foster

He was born December 30, 1941 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late John Foster and Ruby Hatley Foster. Mr. Foster retired from the United States Navy after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and loved to fish.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Andy Foster.

Surviving Mr. Foster are his wife of 51 years, Ethel Stacey Foster of the home; one son, Michael Foster and wife, Menchie of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one daughter, Susan Fogarty and husband, Ron of Wake Forest, NC; one brother, Larry Foster and wife, Joyce of Marion, NC; one sister, Dianne Overcash and husband, Ronnie of Concord, NC; five grandchildren, Brandon, Bryan, Alysha, Megan and Summer; and five great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, 2015 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion, NC with Tina Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
