Kenneth Wade Greenlee

He was born September 14, 1946 in McDowell County, NC to the late Waitsul Delmar Greenlee and Henrietta Pauline Cameron Greenlee. Mr. Greenlee was a Vietnam War veteran of the US Army and was a member of Christ Community Church (EPC).

Surviving Mr. Greenlee are his wife of 41 years, Zula Lois English Greenlee; one son, Jason Wade Greenlee and wife, Samantha of Appleton, WI; one daughter, Heather McGibbon and husband, Kenny of Edinburgh, Scotland; four grandchildren, Robbie McGibbon, Ian McGibbon, Azalea Greenlee and Toby Greenlee; one brother, Jerry Wayne Greenlee of Cuba, NM; one half-sister, Doris Seay of Marion, NC; special friends, Robert K. Hawkins of Marion, NC and his “adopted” son, Jesse Burnette of Fort Benning, GA; and numerous other friends and relatives.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Dr. Richard White and Rev. Calvin Jett officiating.
