Laura Glenn Carson

Laura Glenn Carson, 91, of Marion, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011. She was born March 17, 1920 to the late Frank and Lovie Hall Wilkerson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Carson, daughter, Linda Hunter, and 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

She is survived by four daughters; Brenda Carson, of Marion, Lovie Thompson, of Atlanta, GA, Mary Flemmings, of Marion, Glenda Conley. of Marion, and five son-in-laws, a brother Edward Wilkerson, od Marion, a sister, Hattie Kelly, of Marion, and 15 Grandchildren, and 12 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.
