Lillie Belle Allison Durham

She was born April 20, 1911 in Yancey County, NC to the late John Henry Wilson and Mary Lanning Wilson. Mrs. Durham was the oldest member of the Old Fort Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Allison

Surviving are two sons, Jay Allison and wife, Reva of Old Fort, NC and Ray Allison and wife, Jan of Asheville, NC; three daughters, Polly Crisp, Faye Allison and Ruby Pack and husband, Troy all of Old Fort, NC; two sisters, Marie Roland and Dorothy Grogan of Old Fort, NC; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Kirksey Chapel in Old Fort, NC with Rev. Kenneth Massingill, Rev. Curtis Meador and Rev. Harold Holcombe officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the funeral chapel.
