Linda Mae Nelson Varrone

She was born October 29, 1945 in Richlands, VA to the late Andrew J. Nelson and Mary E. Pruitt Nelson. Mrs. Varrone worked as a CNA for Asheville Healthcare until her retirement and was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and scrapbooking.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Donnie and her sister-in-law, Rhonda Nelson.

Surviving Mrs. Varrone are her husband, Virgil N. Varrone of the home; one son, Pete Tybeck and wife, Natalie of Jacksonville, FL; one step-son, William Varrone and wife, Richelle of Middle Island, NY; three grandchildren, Emily, Samantha and Andrew Tybeck; three brothers, Clyde, Herman and Danny; and six sisters, Ellen, Barbara, Brenda, Carmy, Carrie and Thelmer.

Mrs. Varrone will lie-in-state from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the funeral home with Father Carl Kaltreider officiating.
