So often, we take for granted the simple things in life, and forget about how truly blessed we really are. We tend to worry more about things we cannot change, rather than to celebrate that which is in front of our very eyes…our family. Today we celebrate the life of Lula Craig, a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many people. She was many different things, to different people, however the message she conveyed always remained clear. Even at the age of 107, Lula lived her life in the path of truth, and always wanted us to remember that we need to be true to ourselves. She taught us that we could be whatever we wanted to be, as long as we were good at it, and loved what we did. Her effortless ability to show love as well as her strong disposition, taught us that there is nothing more important than family and friends. Not only was she a great role model to everyone around her, but she was an admirable friend. The lives which she touched were countless, and the wisdom she imparted to those she mentored will never be forgotten. Her legacy shall live on through us and reside always in our hearts.
