

Pamela was born July 3, 1952 in Buncombe County, NC to the late Louis Carter Ownbey and Bernice Gunter Ownbey. She loved the Lord and had big faith. She loved animals of all kind, especially hummingbirds and dragon flies. She was a free spirit and had a big imagination. Pamela lived life well and was a lot of fun! She always made the best of any situation, and she always made everyone feel like family. She will forever be missed by all who knew her.
Those left behind to cherish Pamela’s memory are two daughters, Holly Bobbitt (Chris) and Angel Cook (Alex); five grandchildren, Caitlyn Bobbitt, Holden Bobbitt, Hadley Bobbitt, Addison Cook and Grayson Cook; and one brother, Michael Ownbey.
A memorial service to celebrate Pamela’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Mountain View Baptist Church in Black Mountain, NC with Pastor Brent Bolick officiating. A meal and time of fellowship will follow the service.
