Peggy Sue Burleson

She was born November 19, 1938 in Davidson County, NC to the late Labron Aaron Mashburn and Myrtle Inez Estes. She was a member of New Manna Baptist Church and was Miss Glenwood High of 1957.

Surviving Mrs. Burleson is her husband, Don, her mother, Myrtle Mashburn, sons; Donald Jr., Alan, and Kevin; brother Jack Mashburn, of Hickory, sister, Linda Lambert of Savannah, GA, 3 Grandchildren, Aaron Alexandra, Gabriela Marie, and Sophie AnaLisa Burleson.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Shirley and Rev. Kevin Burleson officiating. Burial will follow at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
