He was born March 22, 1938 in Elizabethton, TN to the late Ralph Sylvester Coffey and Johnnie Eva Fields Coffey. Mr. Coffey worked as a self-employed Contractor. He was a member of Carson’s Chapel United Methodist Church and of the Marion Moose Lodge. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Carson’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Morrison and Rev. Chester West officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hospice of Rutherford County, 374 Hudlow Rd. Forest City, NC 28043.
