Reba Duncan Lee

She was born January 17, 1949 in McDowell County, NC to Ruby Bruner Duncan of Marion and to the late Meade Duncan. Mrs. Lee loved to write poems, travel (especially to the beach), and be around other people. She never met a stranger. She loved and cherished her family very much.

In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lee and Ada Mae Bruner and by her sister, Kathy Duncan.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Lee is survived by her husband, Charles Lee of the home; her son, Jonathan Lee and wife, Kelly of Myrtle Beach, SC; her daughter, Tammy Lee of Marion; two granddaughters, Chesna Lee of Myrtle Beach, SC and Brittany Proffitt of Marion; one sister, Joyce Knowlton and husband, Danny of Marion; one nephew, Fredrick Knowlton of Marion; a special friend, Mary Martin of Louisianna; and several beloved cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 25, 2012 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
