Viola Mathis Wilson

Mrs. Wilson was born July 28, 1931 to the late Ben and Eva Mathis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Stanley Wilson; her daughter, Betty Ballard; and sisters, Inez Taylor, Betty Revis and Ruth McKinney.

Left behind to cherish Mrs. Wilson’s memory are four children, Boyd Tony Wilson and wife, Shirley, Brenda Hall and husband, Royce, Gail Wilson, and Ben Wilson and wife, Ea-Melle all of Marion; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild who all lovingly referred to her as “Maw”.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 9, 2014 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home, Marion. Burial will follow at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
