

Brian K. Kinsey, 51 of Indianapolis passed away at on Monday, December 24, 2012 at his residence. Brian was a 1979 graduate of Norwell High School. Brian was the 1st two-time recipient of the prestigious Pascuzzi Award, the outstanding umpire of the year award of the National Softball Assoc (NSA). Earlier this month, Brian became the 1st Inductee into the Indiana NSA Hall of Fame, Umpire Category. He worked as a postal worker for many years. Brian Loved golfing, fishing, umpiring softball, and playing cards with his friends.
Brian was born on June 22, 1961 in Fort Wayne, a son of Max E. and Connie (Breeden) Kinsey.
He was united in marriage to Rose Stephens on April 4, 2007 in Miami Beach, Florida. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include his parents: Max and Connie Kinsey of Markle; a step daughter: Adrienne Stephens of Indianapolis; a step son: Bradley (Anna) Stephens of Schererville; two brothers; Bruce Kinsey of Plainfield, and Bradley (Sandy) Kinsey of Ft. Wayne; two grandchildren, three nieces, and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by one sister Diana Lynn Kinsey
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home. Markle Chapel, 415 N Lee Street, Markle Indiana.
A Memorial service will take place in Indianapolis at a later date.
