C. Harold "Hank" Davis Jr.

C. Harold “Hank” Davis, Jr., 67 of Markle passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. Hank had worked at General Motors in Pontiac, Michigan, Three Rivers, Michigan and Fort Wayne for 30 years, retiring in 2008. He was a strong UAW member and supporter. He was a member of the Markle Volunteer Fire Department as a certified EMT. Hank loved to fish, hunt, bowl and home improvements which he passed along his skills to his kids. He was a very giving person who helped anyone in need. He was kind hearted, caring and strong. Hank was raised Pentecostal and that was his faith. Hank was born on January 26, 1954 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of the late Cleow Harold and Lillie Mae (Ketchum) Davis, Sr. He was united in marriage to Mona Prentice-Patterson on February 15, 1986 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mona survives. Additional survivors include his children: Jennifer Davis, James (Beth) Davis, Daniel (Alisa) Patterson; a sister: Alice (Rob) Davis-Koewler; grandchildren: Jessica Davis, Jacob Davis, Isaac Keith, Colin Wilson, Damon Davis, Peyton Patterson, Garrin Patterson, Trulee Patterson; great grandchildren: Leah Jannuzzi and Aiyva Wilson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and all the friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Davis. No public visitation or service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
