Emilie A. Kreisher, 84 of Markle passed away on Thursday December 15, 2022 at Markle Health and Rehab. Emilie was a 1957 graduate of East Rock Creek High School. She had worked as a waiter at the Fort Wayne Country Club, in the shoe and fabric department of J.C. Penny’s, and at the Markle Package Liquor store. Emilie enjoyed reading, puzzles and traveling. But most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
Emilie was born on November 3, 1938 in Huntington, the daughter of the late Howard C. and Hazel (Melling) Mason.
She was united in marriage to Denis Kreisher on Jan 4, 1974 in Markle Indiana. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter: Terri Forst of Huntington; two sons: Alan (Pam) Jackson of Decatur, and Phillip Jackson of Markle; one stepsons: Dennis Kreisher of Newhaven; a brother: Jerry Mason of Tacoma WA; a sister: Christine Coates of Huntington; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Jill Wellman; a step son: Gregory Kreisher; five brothers: Neil Jo Mason, Douglas Mason, Brian Mason, Don Mason, and George Mason: and a sister Beatrice Lindley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, located at 415 North Lee Street, Markle IN 46770
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 21 2022 at 10:00 a.m.at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, located at 415 North Lee Street, Markle IN 46770
Interment will take place at the Markle Cemetery
