Gloria J. Collins, 72 of Springfield, Ohio and formerly of Huntington, lost her battle with MS on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. Gloria loved spending time with her family and friends and attending car shows with her husband.
She was born on March 18, 1950 in Huntington, the daughter of Glen and Miriam (Stevens) Thompson.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jerrold B. “Jerry” Collins; three children, Shari (Scott) Spahr, Amy (Tony) Eckert and Joseph (Jennie) Collins; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Sandy Eichhorn and Debbie (Robin) Spears; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 following visitation at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery in Mt. Etna, Indiana.
