John D. Rose, 54 of Uniondale passed away at 9:00pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in Markle. John tended bar in Markle for many years at the Rainbow Tavern/Koozies. He did light shows for the Lennon Brothers for many years. John was an avid Colts fan and enjoyed hanging out with his friends.
John was born on April 26, 1959 in Niles, Michigan, a son of Frank S. and Donna J. (Goff) Rose.
Survivors include two brothers: Toby (Sharon) Rose of Uniondale; Rick Rose of Ingles, Florida; two sisters: Mary Richardson of Muncie and Carol Delong of Lagro and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 4:00 – 5:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 5:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made out to Myers Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
