We were saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Joyce. She was the most wonderful person always smiling and made everyone feel special. I will never forget the first time I heard her sing at church. I thought she had the most beautiful voice! I am sure she sang a lot in her lifetime. I asked her one time when she had been the happiest in her life and without hesitation she said, "When all of my children were little and at home. I don't think she had grandchildren at that time, so there was much happiness to follow! She will be so missed and you all have our most sincere condolences. Love, Vicki and Bart

I had the pleasure of knowing this family for many years. As a teacher, I had several of the Roberts family in my class. Amy was a child care for my son, Gary. Kim worked with me at the Airport Hilton. Several other family members worked with me at Rockcreek School and at Lancaster Central. Joyce and Les were most supportive of the schools. A loving and caring family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family members. Ken

Aunt Joyce was one of the sweetest people I ever met. Always smiling, she was a ray of sunshine wherever she went. Every time I saw Aunt Joyce she would tell me how pretty I was or how pretty my hair was that day. She was always so good for my ego. :) My condolences go out to all of her family, especially my cousins who have now lost both parents. Love you all!!

Dad and I were sad to here of the passing of your beloved mother. There was not a gentler spirit on this earth. Dad thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the Gilbert trio ( Ruth, Joyce, and Carol) at the Corner Depot. We will miss her smile and unrelenting positive attitude.
Our thoughts are with you all.
