Judith C. "Jude" Stephenson, 81 of Zanesville, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at her residence. She was a 1962 graduate of Bethany Christian High School. Jude was an LPN and RN for over 40 years working at several facilities in Northern Indiana. She was a member and former elder at the Zanesville Community Church of God. She also sang at the church for many years. Jude loved to paint, crafting, sewing, crocheting and gardening. Her greatest joy was being a Grandma!
Jude was born on March 6, 1944 in Sturgis, Michigan, the daughter of the late Freeman and Mildred (Burkey) Schrock.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Stephenson on November 1, 1963 in Ordway, Colorado. Jerry preceded her in death on August 12, 2024.
Survivors include two sons: Terry Stephenson of Zanesville, Corey (Jill) Stephenson of Lebanon, TN; a brother: Donald (Betty) Schrock of Michigan; a granddaughter: Jasmin (Justin) Funderburg of Huntington and two great grandchildren: Jude and Jasper.
There will be no public services at this time.
