

Marjorie J. Feemster, 89 passed away at 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. She was a 1940 graduate of West Rock Creek High School. She was a custodian with HCCSC working at Rock Creek and Lancaster for over 25 years, retiring in the late 1980’s. She was a member of the Turnpointe Community Church of the Brethren and she was also a member of the Eastern Star both in Markle.
She was born on August 19, 1922 in Huntington County, the daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Wall) Joy.
She was united in marriage to George Jefferson “Jeff” Feemster on November 11, 1950 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1980.
Survivors include a son: Bob and his wife Gwen Feemster of West Lafayette; a sister-in-law: Neva Joy of Huntington and two grandchildren: Katie and husband Kyle Brock of Montgomery, AL; Erin and husband Jerry Moore of Oxford, IN. and several nieces and nephews including niece: Pam Will and nephew: Jim Joy.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Joy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Markle Chapel with Pastor Mike Shroyer and Barb Wood officiating.
Interment will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County.
