Paul L. Dunnuck, 82 of Markle, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2026 at the Markle Health and Rehab. After his high school years Paul served in the US Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal. He worked for several years for Madison Silo Company in Markle, building agricultural silos. Paul also was a bulldozer operator with his brother Bob and worked for Bragg Excavating in Marion. He also made the best steaks on Tuesday nights at Todd's Old Town Tavern in Fort Wayne. Paul was an avid golfer and loved fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time outdoors and being with family and friends. He was a character, one of a kind. He was always making people laugh and clowning around, a real entertainer. Paul had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody, he didn't know a stranger.
Paul was born on December 4, 1943, in Huntington, a son of the late Thomas J. and Mary C. (Finley) Dunnuck.
Survivors include two brothers: James (Sharon) Dunnuck of Columbia City and Dennis Dunnuck of Ossian; two sister-in-laws: Charlette Dunnuck of Markle and Janet Dunnuck of Bluffton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers: John, William "Ed", Robert and Roger Dunnuck.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Vault, 169 E. Morse St., Markle, Indiana.
