Rancie L. McLaughlin, 60, of rural Markle passed away on Saturday evening, October 21, 2023 at his home. Rancie was a long haul over the road truck driver and loved being on the road. He had served in the US Marine Corp. He loved to ride his dirt bike and enjoyed horses. Rancie especially loved being a Grandpa and spending time with his nine grandchildren.
Rancie was born on May 23, 1963 in Lagrange, IN a son of Gerald and Marian (Pfenning) McLaughlin.
Survivors include a daughter: Shelby (Adam Carew) Mangas of Markle; four sons: Keith (Megan) McLaughlin and Robert Rupert both of Lagrange; Dakota Nelson of Markle and Sean (Kimberlee) Rupert of Topeka;: his father: Gerald McLaughlin of Topeka, IN two brothers: Scott (Nikki) McLaughlin of Leesburg and Jerry McLaughlin of Ligonier; a sister: Robin Woodbury of Virginia and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marian Woodbury and a granddaughter Autumn Carew.
A Celebration of Life for family & friends will take place at a later date.
