Richard "Rick" G. Hoover

Richard "Rick" G. Hoover, 70 of Leo and formerly of Huntington, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2025, at his home. Rick had attended Huntington North High School and then served in the U.S. Marine Corp. for two years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 409 of Leo. Rick was a gun enthusiast and was into racing and everything to do with cars.

Rick was born on December 6, 1954, in Huntington a son of the late Jack and Waneta (Carroll) Hoover.

Survivors include two daughters: Angie (Jason) Ellis of Markle and Ericka (Quinn) Ballinger of Marion; a sister: Beth (Mike) Epperson of Huntington; a niece: Reanna (Ryan) Jennings of Huntington; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 409, 14133 Leo Rd., Leo, Indiana.
