Sandy K. Bonner, 86 of Huntington, passed away early Sunday morning July 20, 2025, at Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Sandy was a 1956 graduate of Huntington Township High School. She was a member of the Markle United Methodist Church and the Markle Riverside 3:16 Church. She organized the Nursery School Program and then was the administrative assistant for 19 years at the Markle United Methodist Church, retiring in 1998. Sandy served on the Farm Bureau Board for many years, where she and her husband, Paul, were former directors. Sandy loved to garden and spend time with her family.
Sandy was born on August 8, 1938, in Huntington, Indiana, a daughter of the late Norman G. and Martha F. (Huffman) Jackson.
She was united in marriage to Paul F. Bonner on June 24, 1962, at the Markle United Methodist Church.
Paul preceded her in death on August 3, 2018.
Survivors include two sons: David (Connie) Bonner of Markle, and Daniel (Debi) Bonner of Huntington; three daughters: Jody (Thom) Winterrowd of Ft. Wayne, Pamela (Neal) Davis-Bartrum of Huntington, and Paula (Phil) Farley of Huntington; 15 grandchildren: Bobby (Caitlyn) McKinzie, Michael McKinzie, Jeremy (Lauren) McKinzie, Matthew (Brittany) Winterrowd, Jessica (Ryan) Bruns, Shelby (Carissa) Bonner, Cameron (Darlene) Bonner, Adam (Cami) Bonner, Ethan (Stephanie) Davis, Austin Davis, Kyla Davis, Zack Bartrum, Taneal Bartrum, Katelynn Farley, and Derek Farley and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son: Jeremy Guy Bonner and three brothers: Robert D. Jackson, Richard E. Jackson and Phillip A. Jackson. A sister: Marilyn J. Clark and a son-in-law: Jon Davis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Markle Riverside 3:16 Church, 145 W. Morse Street, Markle, Indiana.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, following the visitation at 6:00 pm at the church.
Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County at a later date.
