Bobbie (Nutt) Whitt was born August 31, 1946 in Marlin, Texas and passed away on February 5, 2026. Bobbie was happily married to her husband Lonnie for the past 36 years until his death on August 31, 2022.
Bobbie retired from The Texas Department of Criminal Justice at the Hobby Unit. After retiring she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Whitt was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Lois (Sowders) Nutt and her husband, Lonnie Nutt.
Survivors include her son Thomas Ehlers and wife, Libby, daughter Tracie Ehlers Adams, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, 4 step children and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, located at 129 Coleman Street, Marlin, Texas, 76661, on February 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
A graveside service will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, 266 FM 147, Marlin, Texas, on February 9, 2026, starting at 10:00 am.
