a resident of Marlin passed away at the age of 71. He was married to his wife, Kathryn Meyer Sears. They shared 20 years together and cared for one another in their own way.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his daughters, Amy and Bridgette, and by Kathy’s children, their spouses, and grandchildren.
Craig proudly served his country for 20 years in the US Air Force as an Aircraft Master Avionics Technician, a commitment that reflected dedication and perseverance. Following his service, he spent much of his time at the Marlin Country Club, watching the Cowboys play football, and enjoying the game of golf. He appreciated simple routines and familiar pastimes, often found with friends, a round of golf, or relaxing with a cold beer and a cigarette.
In later years, he made efforts to reconnect with family. His life followed a path uniquely his own, and he will be remembered by those who knew him.
Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory in your own way.
