Curtis Andrew Jobe, a devoted family man, respected community member, and proud veteran, passed away on November 15, 2025, in Waco, Texas. He was born on October 12, 1948, in Vernon, Texas, and later made Marlin, Texas, his cherished home.
Curtis honorably served in the United States Army for over 30 years, retiring at the rank of Sergeant First Class. His long military career reflected his dedication, discipline, and sense of duty to his country. He carried those values into civilian life, where he was known for his generosity, and loyalty to his family.
Family was the heart of Curtis's world. He was especially proud of his seven grandchildren, who brought him joy and purpose. His legacy of love, strength, and steadfast character will live on through them and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A small private ceremony for family will be held to honor Curtis's life and service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Taylor's Chapel Cemetery Fund, a place of meaningful heritage, to support its ongoing care and preservation.
Curtis Andrew Jobe will be remembered with honor, gratitude, and deep affection. His life of service-both to his nation and to the family he loved-leaves a lasting impression.
